The trailer parts for the suspension repairs are completed.  Also check the brakes and bearings, all good.  I have nothing else planned for the trailer, so I'll call it done.
Received the dog rings, that trans work is planned for next week.
I've updated our race schedule.
First is Mosport in June.  I've added Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Quebec.  A track with a lot F5000 history.  The date for this is July 12-15.  Then it's a quick turnaround to Road America July 19-22.
Hoping the new trailer will save time on loading and unloading, and a lot of physical effort.

Mosport just 5 weeks away

Wow, time is flying.  All the tires are now mounted.  One more item checked off on the to-do list.

Trailer work

Getting around to finish work on the trailer.  Needed to replace bushings and bolts.  Both are on order and should have them next week.  Also have dog rings coming next week.

Parts of the suspension for the axles.  The bushing are almost non-existent. 

Can't wait to use them

Nice new Goodyear race tires.  Should get a couple of events out of these.

Tires ordered

Goodyear tires are on the way.   Getting them from  SascoSports down in Virginia.  There a sponsor of our Formula 5000 race series.

Spring update

This is going to be a short update.  March has come in like a lion and stayed that way. 
April projects will be finish the gearbox, order tires and look at purchasing a new helmet.  My old one is no longer accepted at the race events.  In May, it's work on the trailer and paint my new helmet.

Yes, no longer producing my own electric.  Feels good, no more generator tending.

Maybe tomorrow, the weather forecast is for snow all day.

Electric update day 5

Nothing new to report.  The broken electric pole down road is still broken. It's very questionable if they will get to it before the next storm hits tonight.  The generator is using about 15 gallons of fuel a day.  It can run the whole night without having to add fuel.  That's good.

Still looking at Tuesday or Wednesday for electric.  The shop doesn't have a generator so no work as been done to the race car.

Electric update

Still no electric, but looks like it should be restored early Wednesday morning.  I bought this generator after Super Storm Sandy.   It's been sitting in the basement the last 5 years, maybe 3 hours of use.  For sure, it just paid for it self.  The cable was going on and off yesterday, but looks stable this morning.

Race car show

Was planning on going to a week long race car show held in a mall. But the weather has but a end to that idea. Must of had a foot of snow. Plus the electric went out yesterday afternoon. Been on our generator for the last 17 hours. Went for short ride, power lines down everywhere. It’s going to be awhile before the power is back.
