The left exhaust and all the connetions are done.  Now to the right side.

Exhaust ready

Repaint the header pipes.  My gear sets arrived yesterday.  Dog rings should not be to far behind.

On Schedule

Made good progress these last couple days.  I've ordered 2 dog rings and 3 gear sets.  All should be here early next week.  When the gear box is back together, I can start the engine. In the mean time, a couple of other projects to tackle, then back to the car.

Gear Box

Been gathering information for the proper gear ratios at Laguna Seca.  Talked to a couple of fellow drivers who have competed there.  So I think I have a idea of what I need.

This is the chart I use for gear ratio sets.

oil lines

Installed the oil pump and working on connecting all the lines.

Nose/rad. support completed

A little repair on the nose support, and now installed.  At this point, all the water lines are connected and next, the oil lines.

Bottom of the nose support.  Just replacing a few of the rivits.

Rear anti roll bar link

Made a replacement for the damage link that happened at Mosport last year.

Just a steel tube with a couple of nuts.

All done.
I'm a little rusty on brazing. Not pretty, but gets the job done.
 If I have the time I'll nickle plate it.

More stuff

Last of the parts in need of cleaning.  Now to hang them on the car.

Tires

After lettering the inside tires, found a few problems.  But now I know for the outside.  I still have to remove some paint and then sandpaper the raised lettering.

Coolant lines and more

Now with the engine in, time to start connecting the oil, fuel and electical.

Spent extra time detailing the engine.  It's soo much easier with it out of the car.

Clutch installed.  Next, clean the engine and get ready for it's installation.

New clutch parts

I'm going to just replace the two discs.  Scrapped the idea of replacing the whole package.  Trying to keep things simple, staying with what I know works.
